Twilight and Sunday courses
Depending on demand we will also be offering these courses which would supplement the work done by students who are not able to commit to daytime portfolio preparation either due to work or school commitments. While this will not offer the depth of our day course it would be an ideal supplement to students who are involved in other areas of study. The course will be centered on developing visual ideas through drawing and sketchbook work. Students will be introduced a wide variety of processes including printmaking and sculpture and will be fully supported through the electronic portfolio submission to Glasgow and Edinburgh art schools. The course will run for 20 weeks starting in early September and will take place on Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 7pm and Sunday afternoons 1pm to 5pm. These courses are free to Glasgow City Council school students. Costs for others will be £80 for Wednesday evenings and £200 for Sunday afternoons inclusive of materials.
